"I am a senior, volleyball player at Guilford. Being that athletics are a big part of my life here at Guilford, I wanted to incorporate that into the station. I have been working with DJ’s, getting them to announce live stats during sports games and promote upcoming events throughout the week."
Why did you become a DJ? 
"When my friends and I hang out, I’m always in charge of playing music. So I thought, why not DJ and see if anyone else likes my playlist?"
What style of music do you play? 
"Country"
What is your favorite part about WQFS? 
"Having the freedom to play what I like during my show. Students are encouraged to express their creativity and individuality while being a part of WQFS. I love playing music that I love, without the fear of being judged."

The purpose of the organization WQFS shall be to maintain and operate the FM Radio Station licensed to the Board of Trustees of Guilford College: to provide educational, entertaining, and informational services to the Guilford College and Triad communities; provide students with an opportunity to learn, through practical experience, the arts and skills of radio program- ming, production, and operation at a professional quality level; and project the cultural image of Guilford College. The goals of this organization are consistent with the Statement of Purpose of Guilford College.
